Ricky was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. At age 12, after numerous failed attempts at becoming the greatest hockey player of all time, Ricky transitioned into the entertainment industry where he had a successful career as an actor and comedian.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Ricky seamlessly started a career behind the camera, writing and directing comedic series and commercials. He has since directed and/or written for clients at Verizon, State Farm, Microsoft Xbox, SAP, Arby’s, Dropbox, BarkBox, Hard Rock Café, and JOANN to name a few.
With his background in performing, Ricky’s strengths come from his ability to harness natural, strong comedic performances from actors and non-actors alike. Having been a working actor since 1995, Ricky has evolved with the ever-changing industry and always keeps au courant with the latest comedic trends. He also speaks French… if it wasn’t clear by the use of the expression “au Courant”.
You can see Ricky do his thing on the screen in Future Man, Preacher, This Is The End, The Newsroom, Goon, Zach and Miri Make a Porno as well as his daily FaceTime calls with his Mother.
